practice / identity

Bioart Lab is an experimental studio at the intersection of art × biology × electronics.

Bioart uses living organisms and biological processes as collaborators in creative work, blurring the boundaries between art and science. Bioart Lab explores biomaterials, pigments, fungi, electronics, and systems that grow, respond, decay, and transform. Alongside studio practice, Bioart Lab develops open-source curriculum for experimental biology and bioelectronics that is hands-on, accessible, and centered on working directly with living materials.
